Welcome to Baia de Guanabara!

Scenario of what became known as "The Last Dance of the Empire, " held a few days before the proclamation of the Republic, the Fiscal Island is still a link between present and past. Decades have passed and the castle, who witnessed so many historical facts, is now a major tourist attraction in Rio de Janeiro.
In the castle open to visitors, the highlights are the turret and wing of Protocol. Three permanent exhibitions are also the attraction Castelinho: The Island History Committee, The Social Contribution of the Navy and Marine Science Contribution.

Currently, the Navy of Brazil gives the option for locals, tourists, foreigners and the general public with a boardwalk that provides not only the visit to Ilha Fiscal, as well as by the beauty of Guanabara Bay, guiding visitors on the importance cultural-historical tourism and various strategic points in the Marvelous City
The boat leaves the Cultural Center of the Navy toward the Fiscal Island, Guanabara Bay, where a guide explains several important points about the occupation of Rio de Janeiro.

Visitation: 5 Monday to Sunday.
Schedule: 13h, 14h30 and 16h.
Ticket Sales: In the days of walking, 11h to 16h.
Value: $ 10.00 - Adults / $ 5.00 - students, children under 12 and adults over 60 years.

Visitation free the 2nd weekend of each month, with distribution of vouchers from 9am at the Cultural Navy.
No tours on the following dates:
• January 1;
• Carnival;
• 6 Good Friday;
• Nov. 2;
• 24, 25 and 31 December.
